Scoutmaster
Shane Knight has been involved with Scouting BSA since his son received a flyer for Pack 369’s Rocket Rally when he was in 1st grade. Since then Shane has enjoyed all of the outdoor experiences that Scouting brings - Summer Camp, backpacking, mountain biking, hiking, camping, conservation projects, sitting by the fire talking nonsense. There is no better place in the world to explore and have adventures out than Colorado and no better company to share these experiences with than the Scouts and parents of Troop 88 from Parker, CO!

Having been raised on the beaches in San Diego, Shane and his dad spent their days surfing, camping, cycling, running and hiking up and down the coast of California. He didn’t experience snow until late into his 20’s but he has come to love it since moving to Colorado in 2013. Shane has been a public school educator since 1997 and has been an elementary school principal since 2004. He loves sharing his passion for the outdoors and teaching youth leadership at work and through Scouts. He’s so grateful to Troop 88 for allowing him to share these passions with our troop.
